Iron Heart's 888 cut offers a high rise and a generous top block that tapers down to a great leg opening that works well with sneakers or boots. This iteration is a 14oz Broken Twill denim, which is very cool. Originally offered by Wrangler in the 1960s, this process helps combat the leg twists found in other denim. The process of weaving fabric in this method sees the combination of both right hand twill (RHT) and left hand twill (LHT) reversed every two warp ends, forming a zigzag-like pattern in the denim and resulting in no bias in either direction of the weave, therefore eliminating leg twist.
